Denton County Divorce Records
The Denton County District Clerk is the official custodian of divorce records. These records are available remotely through the District Clerk Civil & Family Case Records portal. Users can search by case, party, attorney, or date filed.
Individuals may also visit the local district courthouse to use the public computers in the lobby to search divorce records free of charge. Anyone who wants copies of Denton County divorce records can also submit a Record Request Form to the clerk’s office in person, by mail, by fax to (940) 349-5754, or via email at dcrecords@dentoncounty.gov. The records staff will not fulfill a request without a completed Record Request Form and payment.
Divorce records include initial petitions, settlement agreements, final decrees, motions, post-modification orders, and related case materials.
